the staff is very dedicated to helping you find an item that will
fit your need!
Thanks Home Things!...

1. When arranging furniture, be aware of traffic patterns. You can control the patterns by placement of certain pieces.
2. Provide each room with at least two or three different light sources. This could mean adding a lamp or even just some candles.
3. Allow your personality to shine through all around your home by adding special touches like a favorite photo, piece of art, etc.
4. If you like a more eye-catching environment, pick a focal point to draw the attention and then design around the object. Finishes, textures, and accessories can be used to complement the focal point and should not compete for the eye's attention.
5. Use glass to bring more light into a room. You can add a mirror, vase, glasses, or other accessories.
6. Have at least one unique piece of furniture or art that will capture the attention of guests.
7. A well-designed room usually has a majority of one thing, such as color, a little bit of something else, such as a pattern, and a dash of dramatic, such as a bold color or accessory.
8. Before you begin redesigning your home, do a thorough cleaning of your space. Throw out anything that you didn't even know you had or haven't used in several months.
9. An analagous color scheme means that the colors used are side by side on the color wheel (three or more colors must be used for it to be considered a color scheme).
10. Just because you paint a room, you don't have to paint all four walls. Painting just one wall can actually add depth to the space.
